The year begins with a course of six lessons based on the Bronze Award (beginners’ level) of the Fly Dressers’ Guild and will be held on consecutive weeks starting on Monday 17th January 2022. Concurrently, the club will also be running lessons for the silver award (improvers’ level) and the gold award.
Following this, on alternative months there will be further fly tying lessons and demonstrations by club instructors. On the other alternate months there will be guest speakers and fly-tyers, who show members how to use the latest techniques and to tie new fly patterns.
